ANDROID SETUP GUIDE
Install your eSIM on Samsung & Pixel
Ready to ditch the roaming fees? Follow these steps to activate your asimgo travel eSIM on any compatible Android device (2026 Edition).
Phase 1: Pre-Installation
Complete these steps at home or while on Wi-Fi before your journey begins.
Carrier Unlocked
Ensure your Android device is not locked to a specific carrier (contract-free). eSIMs will not install on carrier-locked devices.
QR Code Ready
Have the QR code from your asimgo order confirmation email open on another screen or printed out.
Installation for Samsung
SIM Manager
Navigate to Settings > Connections > SIM Manager.
Add eSIM
Tap Add eSIM. Choose Scan QR code from service provider.
Confirm & Download
Scan the code. When prompted, tap Add to download the eSIM profile to your device.
Installation for Google Pixel
Network Settings
Go to Settings > Network & internet > SIMs. Tap the + (Add) icon next to SIMs.
Download SIM
Select "Download a SIM instead?" and tap Next.
Scan QR Code
Scan your asimgo QR code. Once recognized, tap Download and wait for the "Download finished" message.
Phase 2: Activation (Upon Arrival)
Perform these steps as soon as you land at your destination to start your data.
Set as Primary Data
Go to your SIM settings and ensure the asimgo eSIM is selected as your Preferred SIM for Mobile Data.
⚠️ The Critical Final Step
To access the internet, you MUST turn on Data Roaming for your new asimgo eSIM line.
