When will I receive my eSIM?
Your eSIM QR code and setup guide are emailed within 5 minutes after payment is confirmed. Check your spam folder first if they have not arrived.
Is my phone ready for eSIM?
Your device must support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked. Look for Add eSIM in your mobile settings, or dial *#06# and check whether an EID number appears.Check compatible devices
Can I install it before my trip?
Yes. Install the eSIM on Wi-Fi before departure, then turn the eSIM line off. Enable it on arrival to avoid starting the plan validity period too early.
Can I keep using my home SIM?
Yes. Keep your home SIM active for calls and texts, while selecting ASIMGO as your mobile data line. This helps you avoid home-network data roaming charges.
Will I get a local phone number?
ASIMGO eSIMs are high-speed data plans and do not include a traditional phone number. You can still use WhatsApp, iMessage, Skype and other internet-based calling apps.
What if I cannot get online after landing?
Turn on Data Roaming for the ASIMGO line, select it as your Cellular Data line, then restart your device. These steps solve most connection issues.
Can I transfer or reinstall my QR code?
Each QR code is a secure, one-time-use key. Once installed, it cannot be transferred to another phone. Do not delete your eSIM profile—deletion is permanent.
When does my plan begin?
The validity period begins once the eSIM connects to a supported network and starts using data. Keep the eSIM turned off until you arrive if you install it in advance.
What if the eSIM does not work?
